Welcome to our Term Two news.
This is traditionally a very busy and exciting term!
We will begin with learning about the Hindu festival of Divali which was celebrated earlier in October. During these celebrations we also invite parents to pop in and play with their children in our busy classroom.
We will then move on to looking at Vehicles as many of our children have shown a real interest in all types of vehicles. We hope that Farmer Tim will bring a tractor to school too as part of this work.
Our theme will then move to Christmas which will be here before we know it! The children traditionally take part in a Nativity performance with the rest of EYFS and KS1. We will send out more details as the term goes on. We will also be having our annual Christmas Fair.
We would like to remind parents and carers in advance to remember to name ALL their children's belongings, hats, gloves, scarves, jumpers and so on. Please also ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
Please continue with the reading, words and maths support at home. More details of our work is in the newsletter sent home and also further down on the webpage.
As always, if you have any questions please do pop in and ask.
