Term Five

Welcome to Term 5 - I hope you have all had a restful and enjoyable Easter break and are ready for another exciting term of learning.

Reception learners:

This term's theme is, 'Minibeasts' - we are going to be learning about different minibeasts, including looking after our own caterpillars! We will be using the Eric Carle books, 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and 'The Bad-Tempered Ladybird' in our Literacy sessions.

Please refer to the relevant year group newsletter below to find out more information.

Year 1 learners:

This term's theme is, 'You are never too small to make a difference' - in our History sessions, we are going to be learning about significant events linked to Global Warming. In Science, we are going to begin our work on plants - focussing on what plants need to survive and growing our own pea plants. In our Art lessons, we are going to be developing our sculpture skills and in our RE sessions we shall be considering the question, 'Why does Christmas matter to Christians?'
