Term Four

Welcome to Term 4 - I hope you have all had a restful and enjoyable Half Term break and are ready for another exciting term of learning. Please continue to let us know how your child is getting on with their remote learning and thank you for all your support with this. We can’t wait to have all the children back in school!

Reception learners:

As with last term, as some of our Reception learners will be continuing to work in school with Mrs Ruddock and Mrs Keegan's children (at least initially), the termly topics will also be the same. Your themes for the term are 'Growing' and then 'Easter'. Remember to continue to check Tapestry for your daily learning activities.

Please refer to the relevant year group newsletter below to find out more information.

Year 1 learners:

This term's theme is, 'The Golden Age' - in our History sessions, we are going to be learning about Queen Elizabeth I and the main events that occurred during her reign. In Science, we are going to continue with our work on animal habitats - focussing on microhabitats. In our Art lessons, we are going to be developing our drawing skills and in our RE sessions we shall be considering the question, 'Why does Easter matter to Christians?'
