1. Use relevant video below -
watch either Mrs Jackson's Group or Miss Cook's Group
2. Complete today's Education City activity
1. Warm up your Maths brain with the BBC Supermovers warm up - Number bonds with Martin Dougan
2. Work through the PowerPoint below - make sure you pause after each question slide to give yourself chance to answer (the answer slides follow each time).
3. Choose a worksheet to complete - there is a 1, 2 or 3 star challenge available.
If you are unable to print the worksheets, you can view the questions on screen and write your answers on your own piece of paper.
Today you are going to be polar bear fact finders!
In order to be able to answer your questions from Monday's English task, you of course need to find out some information about polar bears!
There are two videos below for you to work through. Both are jampacked with interesting facts about polar bears and should answer some of your questions.
You have two options with today's videos - you can either watch with the sound off and try to read the information yourself, or you can leave the sound on and listen to the information being read to you.
Whichever way you decide is fine, just make sure you are listening / reading carefully as you will need this information for your task tomorrow (and next week).
There isn't a sheet to record today's work on as I would like you to focus on listening / reading carefully. You might even have your own non-fiction books with information about polar bears in that you might like to look at during today's session.
Today we are thinking about habitats.
Work through the video - don't forget to press pause to answer the questions.
Then you have a choice of activity.
Print and cut out the picture resource and sort onto the habitat sheets (you could make one with your own paper if you don't want to print out)
Look at the picture resource to help you complete the habitat writing sheet. Write the names of the animals that you would find in each of the four habitats.
As always, if you cannot print off the sheet, you can use your own paper.
