Week beginning Monday 18 May 2020
Good morning Class EJ!
I hope you have all had an enjoyable week and have managed to spend some time outdoors in the sunshine this weekend? I spent last week in school with Mrs Webb and some of our key worker children. It was lovely being back in school after such a long time, however seeing our classroom from the playground made me miss you all even more!
As with last week, if you click on the relevant year group below, you will find a weekly overview of possible activities to work on this week. As always, these activities are just suggestions for you to use as you see fit. You may wish to use the given structure, if it works for your family, or alternatively you may use the links to dip into if needed – do what is best for you.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via our class email: email@example.com. Please keep sending across the fabulous news, home learning and photographs. Over the course of last week, I have enjoyed hearing lots more exciting news from Class EJ members. This week's highlights included, hearing a recording from BBC Radio Lincolnshire with one of our team being on the radio to commemorate VE Day. She did an amazing job with some tricky words to say and spoke so clearly! What a star!
Stay safe and keep well
From Mrs Jackson (and of course the two Reggie’s and Ted!)
This week's learning focus
We are continuing with our theme of dragons for this week's learning focus. We are continuing with one of Reggie's favourite stories, 'There is No Dragon in this Story' by Lou Carter and Deborah Allwright for our English work focus. If you haven't seen last week's tasks/video clip, you might like to familiarise yourself with the story so far before looking at this week's activities.
