It's been really fabulous to hear from you all and see all the amazing work you have done - keep it up!

So just to clarify what I have said in my video, please make sure you are trying hard to complete as much of the online learning as possible. I have noted on the timetable the activities I wish to have emailed to me for feedback. Feel free to send any others too as I am happy to look over things. You'll find the extra resources you need underneath the timetable and if you scroll down further there are some additional activities (some of which children who are in school may be completing) that you may want to have a go at too.

Activity 1: Watch ‘Pandora’ and plan a diary entry.

This is another Literacy Shed video (you might recognise

it from somewhere else too!) Today I would like you to watch

and listen carefully and make a collection of interesting words (nouns and verbs particularly) so that you are able to use adventurous language to write a diary entry for an astronaut landing on the planet, describing the journey, landing, meeting

the inhabitants and the adventures they have there.

Please draft out your astronaut's diary entry. What was the journey to Pandora like? What did you see, how did you feel, what exciting adventures did you have?

Miss R's Top Tip: Re-watch the video against whilst you are drafting and editing. You might spot things or hear adventurous language that you would like to include.
