As the end of the term, and indeed, the year comes to an end, we hope that you have booked to come along to school for one of our end of year get-togethers on Wednesday 22 July. Mrs Evans and I are really looking forward to seeing you and, no doubt, the staff who are in school that day will pop their head in to say hello and goodbye to you. Please remember to bring along a written memory of your time at St. Andrew's and come in comfortable non-uniform clothing.

By now, some of you will have collected your books, photos and hoodies from school. The hoodies look amazing and we are really excited about seeing you in and around Woodhall Spa wearing them. As you know already, the hoodies have been paid for by school and the PTA, so if you do see a member of our PTA out and about, please say thank you for them.

Over recent weeks, staff have been thinking of you and missing you, Year 6s. Over 30 members of staff have made video clips to wish you lots of luck in your move to secondary school and these will be added to the fabulous photos that parents have sent in, as well as those we have from your time in school. We hope you will enjoy the video which will be shown at the end of term on our web page. In the autumn term, we realise that you will have started your new schools but would love it if you could all come back to St. Andrew's one last time for the staff v children benchball and rounders, so that we can all be together to say our goodbyes as an entire year group. When we know it is safe to hold the event, we will be in touch with parents to invite you all in to school and enjoy being together. There are so many things to look forward to!

Please find below a timetable of activities for this week which include some transition and end of year activities. English this week includes some comprehension and spelling sheets which you can complete either on a printed version of the sheet or write out the work from the sheet. Instead of our usual piece of writing, we had added a transition workbook for you to complete which hopefully helps you to consider the changes for secondary school.  Hopefully this will be useful in helping you to answer questions that you may have. This week, we have also included another Year 7 computer science lesson following on from last week.

Maths this week is from the CGP Maths book which we regularly use in school. All pdf resources can be found below the table.
