Enriching Lives

Monday 1.2.21

As outlined in the School Newsletter sent out last week, from the 1 to the 7 February, our school is taking part in Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme is ‘Express Yourself’ and we are encouraging children (and adults) to explore the different ways we can express ourselves and the creative ways that we can share our feelings, thoughts and ideas.

Each day, there will be a short video and some discussion points linked to the focus of the day.

As an introduction, please click on the image below at 9am on Monday morning to watch a live assembly from the Oak National Academy. (I believe it will be available after this time if you are unable to watch live.)

Afterwards, there is a short video clip below to watch - can you can spot the different ways people are expressing themselves?

Time to think and discuss:
What are your favourite ways of expressing yourself? Do you like to dance, sing, draw or paint? Share your ideas with a grown up at home.

Can you spot the different ways people are expressing themselves?
