6. What training and experience do staff have for the additional support of my child's needs?

Additional Needs Leader, Sue Haskins – National SENCO Award (Masters Level)

Within school, staff have had training for:

Safeguarding & Child Protection
Paediatric First Aid
Team Teach (behaviour management)
Dyslexia awareness
Autism awareness
Mental Health and Wellbeing
Attachment difficulties
Speech and Language difficulties

We also have staff who have attended courses on Elkan Speech and Language, Early Bird Plus (autism), Emotional Literacy (ELSA).
