The academic outcomes for our children compare very favourably with National comparisons.
In 2023 , by comparison to the above data:
- 77% of children from St Andrew's met the expected standard compared to 59%.
- 18% of children from St Andrew's met the higher standard compared to 8%.
- 95% of children from St Andrew's met the expected standard in reading compared to 73%.
- 85% of children from St Andrew's met the expected standard in writing compared to 71%.
- 87% of children from St Andrew's met the expected standard in maths compared 73%.
- 100% of children from St Andrew's met the expected standard in grammar, punctuation and spelling compared to 72%.

Ofsted - Who are they are and what they do
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and they are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
Every week, they carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England, and publish the results on their website. They work with providers which are not yet good to promote their improvement, monitoring their progress and sharing with them the best practice we find.
