Thanks very much indeed for your very kind letter which I’ve passed to John and Benny. I know, having talked to them both, that they very much enjoyed giving their presentation to your students. You may have heard from Andrew Blair that it was evident from John’s short speech during our Dinner that his interaction with the children made the weekend one of the most moving he’d had of all the very many years he’s been visiting the Petwood. Your children certainly reinforced to them both how proud we should be of the next, upcoming generation. No doubt your school has much to do with shaping them into such interesting, courteous young people.

 

It was also smashing to meet Andrew and his wife and I hope they enjoyed the evening.
